Oil trading tools
USOIL price-move calculator.
Find the USD value of a one-cent move—or any price change—for your position. Enter the contract size from your broker: USOIL CFDs do not all use the same number of barrels per lot.
How the calculation works
USD value = barrels per lot × number of lots × price move per barrel. For example, a $0.01 move on one 100-barrel contract is $1. A $0.01 move on one 1,000-barrel contract is $10.
“Pip” is not a universal USOIL contract unit. Check your broker's instrument specification for contract size, minimum price increment, quote currency, spread, and any conversion before using this result for risk sizing. This calculator excludes fees and spread.
CME lists Micro WTI futures at 100 barrels and standard WTI futures at 1,000 barrels, both with a $0.01 minimum increment. Those are exchange futures examples, not a default specification for your CFD broker.
